Barbara Ann Reynolds was born on November 3, 1945, and she went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2021. She was a member of the Eufaula Church of Christ. Barbara was a devoted Bible reader. Barbara was born to Fay and Lucille Jones. She attended Eufaula Schools where she excelled in academics, and graduated as valedictorian of her class in 1963. Following her junior year she was one of 50 students from across the US chosen to attend a National Math and Science Foundation Institute. Her next destination for education was Southeastern State College in Durant where she excelled in math during her undergraduate and graduate classes earning her bachelor's and master's degree. Barbara began her teaching career in Stigler, but after one year she returned to Eufaula to teach for the next 46 years. Barbara taught math at Eufaula High School, Houston Homan Junior High and Eufaula Elementary. She also taught college algebra and Connors State College, and tutored at Eufaula Creek Nation Dormitory. Barbara was a devoted educator chosen twice by her peers as Eufaula Public Schools Teacher of the Year. She was recognized by the Eufaula Alumni Association for her life long dedication to students in the classroom and outside of the classroom. Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her daughters, Dana Reynolds and Stacy Reynolds both of Eufaula; her granddaughters, Erica Liddell and husband Matthew of Tulsa and Karlee Reynolds of Muskogee, great grandchildren, Martin Liddell, Natalie Liddell, Emily Liddell and Murray Liddell of Tulsa, sisters, Debbie Jones and Linda Harris of Eufaula and Uncle Ralph Parker of Eufaula plus a host of former students she loved. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fay and Lucille Jones and brother, Jerry Jones.
