Charles "Charlie" Kenneth Sills, Sr., 70 of Quinton, passed away on May 24, 2024 at his home. Charlie was born on August 23, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Ernest Clinton and Frances Ellen (Krumtum) Sills. He graduated from Alma High School in Alma, Arkansas. Charlie served in the United States Air Force. He was married to Annette Van Matre for twenty-five years and two children were born to this union: Kenny and Charlotte. Charlie worked as a plumber in the Air Force for nine years and continued working as a plumber for a total of over thirty years, operating Charlie's Plumbing in the Quinton area. He was later married to Sheila Blair for fourteen years, before she preceded him in death in 2018. Charlie was a member of the Eufaula Masonic Lodge #1.
Survivors include: his daughter, Charlotte Easley, of Howe, OK; grandchildren: Tyler Sills and wife Madison, of Tulsa; Wyatt Sills, of Kinta; Blaine Sills, of Whitesboro; Rayne Easley, of Spiro; and Tierra Scott and husband Chad of Charleston, AR; sisters: Sandy Glover, of Greenwood, AR; and Carrie White, of Alma, AR; and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Sills and Frances Krumtum; son, Charles "Kenny" Kenneth Sill, Jr.; and one brother, Robert Sills.
The family will have a gathering from 1 - 6 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Quinton Community Center. Cremation arrangements were made with Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences may be made at www.hbmfuneralhome.com
