Leta Wynona Blankenship

Leta Wynona Blankenship, 94, of Eufaula, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Eufaula Manor. Leta was born on June 4, 1920, in Altus, Oklahoma the daughter of Ivan E. and Annie (Box) Tabb. On June 13, 1936, Leta married Herbert Ray Blankenship. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2000. Leta worked as a hair stylist. Survivors include: her daughter, Sherry Blackburn and husband Joseph of Indianapolis, Indiana; her friends, Nathan and Patricia Hampton of Caldwell, Idaho and Jonathan Hampton of Eufaula; a sister, Susan Hunt of Muskogee and her grandchildren, Helena, Christina, Adam and Benjamin and three great grandchildren. Leta is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ivan D. Tabb and Gordon Lee Tabb and a sister, Wilma Williams.
