Marilyn Darnell Privette, 62, of Eufaula, passed away on August 21, 2020 at her home. Marilyn was born September 10, 1957 in Mesa, Arizona to Walter John and Velma (Haley) Blair. She attended Eufaula Public Schools to the 8th grade. On October 11, 1978, Marilyn married James Kenneth Privette Jr. They were happily married for almost thirty-four years, before he preceded her in death on January 1, 2013. She was a homemaker and took care of everything. Marilyn loved to call her sisters all the time and talk about her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center. Survivors include: her daughter, Shana Haskett and husband, Jayson, of Eufaula; son, James Privette and wife, Kathy, of Ardmore; sisters: Barbara Ford and husband, Danny, of Eufaula; Brenda Buck and husband, Kelton, of Checotah; Carolyn Fry, of Eufaula; and Alice Fry and husband, Bill, of Eufaula; five grandchildren: Trey Scheurer, Kyla Scheurer, Alexis Scheurer, James Wyatt Haskett, and Nadaleigh Privette; one great granddaughter, Londyn Cochran; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Velma Blair; her husband, James Privette; two twin daughters, Selena and Sabrina; brother, Theodore Blair; sisters: Linda Beasley and her husband, Howard and Dorothy (Blondie) Fry; brother in-law, Bobby Fry; and nephew, Benny Fry. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
