Billy Joe Shatt

Billy Joe Shatt, 88, of Moore, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Billy was born on September 11, 1937 in Artussee, Oklahoma to Benjamin Franklin Shatt and Lela Belle (Stubblefield) Shatt. Billy served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1961. Billy married Geraldine Mcadoo on December 10, 1957 in Eufaula, Oklahoma and together they shared sixty-eight years of marriage. Billy was a avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed spending time outside in the sunshine, whether he was hunting, fishing or playing a game of golf. Billy loved spending time with his family and cherished the memories made together.

Billy is survived by two sons Steve Shatt and wife Janet of Ft. Worth, Texas and Brian Shatt and wife Stephanie of Ft. Worth, Texas. six grandchildren Cindy Shatt, Melanie Walker, Katie Pickett, Lauren Paige, Taylor Roberson and Rylee Steele; and eight great-grandchildren.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Lela, his wife Geraldine Shatt.
