Bobby Ray Powers, 94, of Quinton, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026, at his home. Bobby was born on November 1, 1931, in Blocker, Oklahoma, the son of Otis and Mabel Powers. Bobby attended school at Blocker. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1951 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Bobby served in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1954. On January 19, 1955, Bobby married Anna Mae Morris at their pastor's home in Stigler, Oklahoma. Bobby worked as a cross-country truck driver for 33 1/2 years. He loved fishing, playing the penny machines at the casino, dominoes and playing cards. He also loved his cat.

Survivors include his wife, Anna, of the home; son, Eddie Dean Powers of Quinton; daughters Penny L. Franklin of Hoyt, Bobbie Jeanette Askew of Enterprise and Roxane Kilgore of Keota; sisters Edna Harvey of Blocker and Dalene Hart of Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents Otis and Mabel Powers, brother Jimmy Powers, sister, Jeanie Bee, one son, Steven and daughter Kyla, two grandsons, Ronnie Jr. and Joseph Christopher and one great grandson Joseph William.
