Caspal Lawrence "CL" Guinn

Caspal Lawrence "C.L." Guinn, aged 77, of Checotah, Oklahoma, peacefully departed this life on June 30, 2025, at his home. Born on June 7, 1948, in Oildale, California, he was the son of Caspal Lawrence and Inez (Herron) Guinn. C.L. graduated from Eufaula High School in 1967 and honorably served his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps.

He dedicated a portion of his career to the Department of Correction in McAlester, where he worked for ten years. On February 14, 2014, C.L. joyfully married Jacqueline Kay Wallace, with whom he shared his life.

C.L. is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jackie, along with his sons, Jacob Guinn and his wife from Iowa, Jon Guinn of Longtown, and James Guinn of Checotah. He is also survived by his sister, Barb Guinn of Muskogee, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Caspal and Inez Guinn.

His life touched many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
