Chebon Abernathy

Chebon passed away on Saturday morning April 11, 2020. He would have been 38 years old on April 25, 2020. He was an avid Major League Baseball and OKC Thunder fan. He was a member of the Tuskegee Indian Baptist Church. Chebon graduated from Muskogee High School in 2000 where he played baseball all 4 years and was listed in the National Honor Society. He graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Business Administration and was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. Chebon is survived by his mother, Bonita, father Ron and sister Sally Abernathy all of Oklahoma City, grandparents, Elaine and Darryl Woods of Mannford, cousins Julea, Tvse, and Barry Wilson, Uncle Tony and Lorraine Marshall of Owyhee, NV, Uncle Jimmy Abernathy and Aunt Shirley Woods of Florence, AL and numerous other loving family members, Francis family of Tulsa, Kappa Sigma brothers and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Chebon Abernathy Go/Fund/Me account or mailed to the Abernathy Residence, 3321 Lazy Lane, Del City, OK 73115.
