Dorothy Frances Green

Dorothy Frances Green, 93, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Monday, December 1, 2025 in Shawnee, Oklahoma surrounded by family. Dorothy was born on February 9, 1932 in Sumter, South Carolina to John Joseph Shirah and Mary Annie (Brewer) Shirah. Dorothy married John L. Green in Sumter, S.C. and were happily married for forty-five years. Dorothy loved to travel, play games at the casinos and spending time with her grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her sons Allen Green of Shawnee and Gordon Green and wife Stephny of Eufaula; daughter Brenda Mahon and husband Jack of Elk Grove, California; grandchildren Candy, Tatum, Alexa, Justin, B.J., Tammi, Mitchell, Kioni, Debra, Jeff, Amber, Robert, Misty, Bo, Joseph, Brandi, Elizabeth, Billie, Honey, Akadian, Stephanie and husband Tim. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Shirah; her husband John and her husband Raymond Alhefeld; sons, John Sr. and Tracy Green; her daughter in law, Kathy Green; Brothers Julius Shirah, Coly Shirah, Olin Shirah and Robert Shirah; sisters Toni Smith, Eva Goff and Bertha Riles.
