Elbert Moon

Elbert was born on March 6, 1940 in Macomb, Oklahoma to John Daniel and Ellen Adeline (Gregory) Moon. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1957. On October 4, 1968 Elbert married Lavada Richardson. They were married for fifteen years. He worked in the oilfield for over thirty years. Elbert was later married to Jackie Ary for over fifteen years, before she preceded him in death in 2012. He was a member of the Ash Creek Church. Survivors include: two sons: Greg Moon and wife, Delana, of Wilburton, OK; Shane Moon and wife, Michelle, of Yelm, WA; brothers: Lecil Moon, of Macomb, OK; Kenneth Moon and wife, Sookie, of Whitefield, OK; Delbert Moon, of Quinton, OK; and five grandchildren: Kelbie, Kaila, Tori, Paxton, and Tyler. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Herman Moon, Leroy Moon, JD Moon, Irlie Moon, and Dean Moon; and sisters: Mary Linn, Lavada Linn, and Ethel Greeling.
