Gary Lee Bledsoe

Gary Lee Bledsoe,77, of Eufaula, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at his home in Eufaula. Gary was born on July 5, 1949 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Lee and Etta (Waldroop) Bledsoe. He attended Checotah schools and graduated from Checotah High School in 1968.

Gary was a welder and millwright for many years and retired in 2010 from AEP/PSO as a supervisor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents Etta and Lee Bledsoe, sisters Ramona Payne and Mary Phyllis Eddy, son Danny Bledsoe, grandson Jake Newell, niece Cammie Dudek and nephews Jerry Don Hurst and Brandon Widmar.

Gary is survived by the love of his life Vicki (Campbell) Bledsoe, daughter and son-in-law Ashlee and Colton Heath of Beggs; sisters Linda Brewer and husband Gary of Oklahoma City, Sherry Marks and significant other Randy Nester of Eufaula, and Debbie and husband Mike Widmar of Oklahoma City; grandchildren Dustin Newell and wife Heather of Pennsylvania, Ricky Newell and wife Lizbeth of Checotah, Ashten Pacenza, and Brayden Heath of Beggs; great-grandchildren Kyson and Sawyer Newell of Arizona, Abigail Newell of Checotah, and Jakey Newell of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and one special niece, Delicia Hurst of Houston.
