Jb Hamilton

JB was born on March 14, 1927, in McAlester, Oklahoma the son of Bud and Clessie (Cox) Hamilton. He attended school at 42 and worked as a farmer most of his life. JB married Jurlene Shattswell in Eufaula, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on July 20, 2004. JB was a member of the Deeres Chapel Full Gospel Church. He loved to talk, fish, garden and hunt squirrel and deer; but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. Survivors include: his son, Donald Hamilton of Porum Landing; his daughters, Merrilyn Camp and husband Jerry of Kellyville, Sandy Petters and husband Bob of Eufaula and Evelyn Moore and husband John of Seminole; a brother, Sonnie Nester of Eufaula; ten grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jurlene, a son Benny Joe Hamilton, a daughter, Ronda Hamilton, grandsons, Jonathan Eldridge, Donald Hamilton, Jr. and two brothers, Winfred and Wendell.
