Jerry George Pellar, 76, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at his home. Jerry was born on December 13, 1946, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Sylvester George and Evelyn June (Vasicek) Pellar. He went to school in Union City and El Reno. Jerry grew up working on his grandparents farm in Canadian County. After marrying, he raised his family in Yukon. Jerry worked for Lucent Technology where he receive perfect attendance many years, retiring after thirty years. He spent his retirement years in Eufaula. Jerry was a volunteer firefighter for the FAIC Fire Department in Checotah (Fountainhead Area Improvement Council).

Survivors include his son James Earl Pellar and wife Traci (Henderson) Pellar of Eufaula, brother Larry Pellar of El Reno and four grandchildren: Hunter Pellar, Jaci Pellar, Madisyn Heimbach, and MacKenzie Shieldnight. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Helen Vasicek, parents Sylvester and Evelyn Pellar, and daughters Kim Pellar and Tammy Shieldnight.
