Joel Satter, 76, passed away in his home on Saturday, March 26th, 2022. Joel was born June 17th, 1945 to Raymond and Melba Satter in St. Louis, Missouri. Joel enlisted in the Navy in San Diego, California in 1974 where he went on to receive multiple awards for his service. He married Linda Rae Thornhill on October 25th, 1975 in Oxnard, California. Joel loved to read. He always had a book in his hand. He had a large family that adored him and he loved spending time with them. He worked on Saint Nicholas Island off the coast in California for the Government. He ran the diesel power plant that powered the island. He was a man of many trades from Navy C.B.'s to driving pressure trucks for Gernand Oil Service in Lyndsey, Oklahoma. He did what he could to take care of his family. Joel will be missed so much especially by his wife, Linda of 46 years. You're at peace now Joe, with all your loved ones that have gone before. Always in our hearts - Big Joe - Love you. Joel is survived by his wife Linda Satter, of the home, son; Jerry Watson and wife Jeanie of Eufaula, daughters; Margaret Adele Lawson and husband Dave of Canadian, Georgina Lashawn Combs of Eufaula, thirty nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Jerome Satter, and sisters Jean Satter and Joan Steible.
