Joyce Darlene Humphrey

Joyce Darlene Humphrey was born on March 3, 1936, in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, the daughter of Chester Hubert and Della (Leatherbury) Morse. She graduated from Porterville High School and received her associates degree from Porterville Community College. Joyce married Curtis Hunt in Porterville, California in 1956. She was an Army wife who lived in Nuremberg Germany from 1956-1958 with her husband Curtis. During her life, Joyce worked several jobs including peach canning in California, being a waitress, and helping her husband Curtis with his construction company. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family. When the boys were younger, She was the Cub Scout Primary leader of Eufaula Troop 449 in the 70's. Joyce later married Roy Humphrey.

Survivors include her sons Mitchell Hunt of Eufaula, OK and Scott Hunt and wife Ellen Weinstein of Thousand Oaks, CA; grandchildren Alec Weinstein of Thousand Oaks, CA and Lora Bennett of Perris, CA.

She is preceded in death by her parents Chester and Della Morse; sister Doris Pauline Morse, brother Clarence Eugene Morse and both husbands Curtis Hunt and Roy Humphrey.
