Karen Sue Henson

Karen Sue (Lang) Henson, 75, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at her home surrounded by family. Karen was born on February 20, 1951, in Kinta, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Martin and Jessie Vernell (Johnson) Lang. She graduated from Kinta High School in 1969, went to Eastern State College then went to Oklahoma State University. In 1977, Karen married John David Henson. They were happily married for forty-nine years. Karen worked for T.H. Rogers Lumber Company as a bookkeeper. She then went to work at the McIntosh County Court House in Eufaula where she worked for over 30 years before retiring in 2013.

Karen is survived by her husband David, of the home; daughters Melanie Taylor and husband Jerry of Eufaula and Megan Henson also of Eufaula; brother Michael Lang; grandchildren Reed Clark and wife Ashley of Paris, TX, Elizabeth Jones, Carsen Taylor and Maggie Taylor all of Eufaula and two great grandchildren Adleigh and Asher Jones of Eufaula.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents William and Jessie Lang.
