Kay Ann Farrow, 79, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family.
Born on March 3, 1946, in Palm Springs, California, Kay was the daughter of Jack and Mary (McIntosh) Hickman. She graduated from Eufaula Public Schools in 1964 was a cheerleader, homecoming queen & High Jumper. After High School she attended Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, Ok where she proudly cheered.
With a distinguished career spanning over forty years, Kay worked as a legal secretary, demonstrating dedication and professionalism throughout her life. She was a woman of faith, aligning with the Baptist community.
Kay had a passion for the great outdoors, particularly fishing, which led her to travel to Canada each year. Her creative spirit shone through her hobbies of embroidery and beaded jewelry, which she cherished. She was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers!
As an active member and secretary of the Lions Club for many years, Kay contributed significantly to her community, embodying the values of service and leadership. Her time at Eufaula Boarding School blessed her with lifelong friendships that she held dear.
Kay Ann Farrow will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, loving nature, and the warmth she brought to the lives of those around her. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.
Kay is survived by her husband of the home; Byrd Farrow Jr.,
One son; Marty and Wife Deena Farrow of Eufaula. One daughter; Nancy Farrow of Eufaula. Six grandchildren; Nicholas Farrow, Anna Currans, Sydney Farrow, Cody Faries, Nicole Farrow and Kaden Farrow, nine great grandchildren.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents; One infant son; Aaron, One brother Willis Hickman, Three sisters; Rosemary McClain, Jackie Jean Schumacher and Linda Rogers.
