Leatrice Maxine Palmer

Maxine was born on September 9, 1926 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Noah and Ona (Sloan) Chapman. On October 19, 1943, she married Jimmie Palmer. They were happily married for sixty-five years. Maxine graduated from Eufaula High School in 1944. She worked as a homemaker, raising her two sons. Maxine was a member of the Eufaula First Baptist Church. Survivors include: her two sons, Jimmy Palmer, Jr. and wife, Yolanda, of Irving, TX; Noah Palmer and wife, Kathi, of North Platte, Nebraska; one brother, Kenneth Chapman and wife, Linda, of Arroyo Grande, CA; one sister, Rosalee Strickland and husband, Gilbert, of CA; seven grandchildren: Roger, of Jackson, MS; Leslie, of Mountainhome AFB, ID; Alyssa, of Madison, WI; Portia, of Lubbock, TX; Jess, Caleb and wife, Maggie, and Sadie, all of Denver, CO; and two great grandchildren: Nina and Miles. She is preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Ona Chapman; and her husband, Jimmie Palmer, Sr.
