Marie Terry Linstead

Marie Terry Linstead, 73, of Eufaula, Oklahoma , passed away at home on March 21, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer. Marie was born on January 25, 1953 in Norfolk, Virginia to Ralph and Leo Crews Terry. Marie grew up in South Georgia and attended Valdosta State College where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She met Charles Linstead through a mutual friend in the Sonic business. They married in November 1978 and moved to Edmond, Oklahoma, then resided in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Marie was a hardworking and knowledgeable bookkeeper for Linstead Properties as well as several local businesses over the years. Marie was an avid study of the Bible and taught Sunday School at Pioneer Freewill Baptist Church and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Marie is survived by her son Brandon Frank Linstead of Eufaula and her daughter, Villette Marie Stamper (Ryan) of Stigler, Oklahoma, her brother Charles Terry (Madonna) of Valdosta, Georgia, her sister Eloise Terry Cupp also of Valdosta, sister-in-law Karlena Risenhoover of Arcadia, Oklahoma, three nieces and one nephew, Donna (Mark) Washburn, Karen (Mike) Pratt, and Debra (deMarc) Lyon, Larry (Andrea) Moon, six grandchildren: Kayla Stamper, Meladee Stamper, Aubrie Linstead, Charles Stamper, Devrie Linstead, and Bason Stamper.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Leo Terry and her husband Charles Linstead, brother-in-law Larry Cupp and stillborn grandsons Sawyer Blake and Thaddeous Paul.
