Marilyn Lavon "Mary" Parker, 67, of Eufaula, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020, at the Integris Hospital of Oklahoma City. Mary was born on March 25, 1953, in Bakersfield, California, the daughter of Jim Henry and Jackie Mae (Toler) McGuire. Mary graduated from Eufaula High School in 1971. On November 6, 1971, Reverend DC Jackson performed the marriage of Mary McGuire to Rodney D. Parker at the Lenna Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Lenna Baptist Church. Mary lived her whole life in dedication to her husband, her daughters, and her grandchildren. She was known for her fudge as she was for her giving but spunky spirit. She was influential in the community and in the church, for all children. Her home was the heart of not only our lives, but the whole community. Survivors include: her husband, Rod, of the home; her daughter, Elizabeth Leeper and husband Josh, and their children, Codi and Logan of Eufaula; her daughter, Jennifer Carmen and husband Rick, and their children, Madelyn and Matthew of Moore; her sister in law, Jeanette; her sisters, Wynona Hutson of Muskogee and Susan Larson and husband Andy of Houston, TX. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Jim Henry McGuire on February 21, 1985 and Jackie Mae McGuire on June 13, 1998, her brother, Jim Henry McGuire and her brother in law, JR Hutson. There will be no viewing. Family will have a memorial service at a later date.
