Marlena Jean Pearson

Marlena Jean Pearson, 71, of Quinton, Oklahoma peacefully passed from this life on Friday, June 26, 2026 in McAlester, Oklahoma surrounded by family. Jean was born on August 17, 1954 in McAlester, Oklahoma to John Carl Robinson and Geneva Marguerite (Roberts). Jean graduated from Quinton Public Schools in 1973. Jean was a member of the First Church of God in Quinton, Oklahoma Jean married Leslie (Buddy) Joe Pearson on April 28, 1973 at the First Baptist Church in Quinton, Oklahoma and together they shared fifty-three years of marriage. Jean dedicated fifty years to the Farmers State Bank in Quinton, holding down many positions but her most recent being a Loan Administration Officer.

Jean is survived by her husband Leslie of the home, one sister Patricia Esparza-Montes and husband Humberto of McAlester, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents John and Geneva Robinson, one brother Dennis Robinson, one sister Sharon Morris and one great nephew Bobby Chambers.
