Melanie Ann Smith, 38, of Eufaula, Ok., passed from this life on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 in McAlester, Ok. Melanie was born on January 22, 1988 in Modesto, California to William Carl Smith Jr. and Shawna Diana (Beck) Smith. Melanie grew up in Modesto and moved to Eufaula, Ok in 1995 with her family. Melanie attended Eufaula Public Schools until 2005.

Melanie is survived by her son; Carlos M. Cisneros of the home; Carlos' half brother; Antonio Cisneros, her parents; William Carl Smith Jr. and Shawna Diana Smith of Eufaula, Ok., three sisters; Morgan D. Smith and husband Waylon Watkins, Marcey D. Morrow and husband Zack Morrow and Mindy L. Reyes and husband Alex Reyes. nieces; Emily and Kelcey Decker, C'Arra Daniels, Madison Reyes, Kylea Smith and Kinzlee Skinner, nephews; Tryson Daniels and Bentley Skinner, great nephew; Taiden Sells and numerous aunts, uncles, close cousins and friends.

Melanie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Harry and Betty Beck, paternal grandparents; Carl and Joyce Smith.

Viewing will be held Friday, February 20 and Saturday February 21 from 9am -7pm at Hunn Black and Merritt Funeral Home. No Service.
