Richard Clell Grider, 74, of Eufaula, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at his home. Richard was born on August 14, 1946, in Checotah, Oklahoma, the son of Dallas Clell and Mildred Lucille (French) Grider. He attended Bower School. He then joined the Army National Guard. On April 15, 1967, Richard married Carla Jean Daniel in Eufaula. They were happily married for forty years. Richard retired from Oklahoma Natural Gas where he worked as a welder. He was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include: his sons, David Grider and Debbie Severson of Tulsa, OK, Daniel Grider and husband Anthony Revels of Atlanta, GA and Tim Grider and wife Caina of Eufaula, OK; his sister, Norine Weeks and husband Ernest of McAlester; his grandchildren, Ryan Grider and wife Desirea of Broken Arrow, Ashlee Grider of Glenpool, Max Severson of Tulsa, Lars Severson of California, Zane Severson of Tulsa, Jayden Grider of Deer Creek, Anna Revels of Georgia, Grace Revels of Georgia, Treyton Grider of Eufaula and Taber Grider of Eufaula; and one great grandchild, Rylan. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
