Robert Howard Sunday

Robert Howard Sunday, 71, of Eufaula, Oklahoma peacefully passed from this life on Sunday, May 31, 2026 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, surrounded by family. Bob was born on January 16, 1955 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Quinton Sunday and Beth (Baker) Sunday. Bob was of the Methodist faith. Bob married Sonya Sorrels Branch on September 2, 1995 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and together they shared thirty years of marriage. Bob owned and operated Robert H. Sunday CPA for many years in Eufaula. He retired to spend time with his family and to travel.

Bob is survived by his wife Sonya of the home, one son Brandon Thompson of Newcastle, Oklahoma, three daughters Brooke Sunday-Brun of Alaska, Lacy Kerr of Kansas and Schelli Nordskog of Wisconsin, seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Damian, Ethan, Elita, Gage, Baby Lakin and Remi, four great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Kent, Langley and Violet and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Quinton and Beth Sunday and one brother Bill Sunday.
