Rodney James Hartline, 46, of Eufaula, OK passed from this life on April 1, 2026, in Hominy, Oklahoma. Rodney was born on October 3, 1979, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Lonnie Alexander and Sherlynn Kae (Pearce) Hartline. He attended Del City schools and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. Growing up Rodney was attracted to any tree he could climb. He enjoyed hunting with his dad and fishing with his family at Lake Eufaula before moving there in 2007. Rodney loved the outdoors, boating, sports, and designing landscapes. He followed his dad’s hobby of collecting Indian relics and coins, but his first love was spending time with his daughter Sydney. Together they spent time on the lake boating, camping in the backyard, and coloring her hair. Before it was even popular, Rodney exercised his independence and colored his own hair bright blue and bright green.
Rodney is survived by his mother Sherry Hartline of Eufaula, OK, sister Lori Hartline of Checotah, OK, brother David Hartline of Illinois and daughter Sydney Fallon Hartline of Checotah, OK. Rodney is preceded in death by his father Lonnie Alexander Hartline, Jr, his paternal grandparents Lonnie and Shirley Hartline and his maternal grandparents Robert and Carlene Pearce.
