Ronald Eugene Jackson

Ronald Eugene Jackson, 74, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, at the Northeastern Health System of Tahlequah. Ronald was born on July 13, 1947, in Checotah, Oklahoma, the son of Eugene Ray and Lavena Jane (Murry) Jackson. He graduated from Checotah High School in 1965. He then received his Bachelor's degree from Northeastern State University. On March 8, 1975, Ronald married Bridgie Ann McGuire. They were happily married for forty-six years. Ronald worked as a rancher, a rural mail carrier for McIntosh County for fifteen years and also worked for Haskell County on county roads. He loved to rope, hunt and fish. Survivors include: his wife, Bridgie, of the home; his son Joe Paul Ray Jackson and wife Kristie of Okmulgee and Elijah Ronald Levi Jackson of Eufaula; brothers, Stevie Jackson and wife Donna of Morris, Donald Jackson and wife Melissa of Muskogee and Johnny Jackson of Sapulpa; two granddaughters and three grandsons. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Connie Karlack.
