Rosalie Ann Jacobs

Rosalie Ann Jacobs, 80, of Checotah, passed away Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 at her home. Rosalie was born on June 19, 1939, the daughter of Herbert Earl Knickman and Doris Ann Knickman in Maryland. Rosalie graduated from St. Peters Catholic School in Waldorf, MD in 1955 at the age of 16. She later graduated business school. Shortly after, she met Billy Ray Jacobs in Baltimore, Maryland where he was stationed with the United States Army. Rosalie and Billy were joined in marriage on April 8th 1956 in Eufaula, Oklahoma where they were happily married for 63 years and raised 7 children. Survivors include: her sons, Robert Jacobs and Mitchell Jacobs; her daughters, Beth Stone, Tina French and Mandy Tallon; twenty grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Ray Jacobs, two children, William Raymond Jacobs and Roxanne McElvogue, and one grandson, Kyle Jacobs.
