Ruben Dabbs

Ruben was born on May 24, 1929 in Artussee, Oklahoma to Town and Myrtle (Vogel) Dabbs. He attended school in Artussee. Ruben worked as a farm hand and also at Kelley Funeral Home in Eufaula at one time. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He loved to coon hunt. Survivors include: two brothers: Willis Dabbs, of California; Vernon Dabbs, of Arizona; four sisters: Thelma Leblanc, of Louisiana; Nan Mote; Annie Teague, both of Crowder, OK; and Lola Bigham, of Missouri; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Town and Myrtle Dabbs; sister, Edna Wilson; and three brothers, Louie Dabbs, Clate Dabbs, and DC Dabbs.
