Scotty "Scott" B. Hampton

Scotty "Scott" Buford Hampton, 71, of Stidham, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at his home. Scott was born on August 25, 1944, in Crowder, Oklahoma, the son of Winfield Scott and Clara Kate (Jones) Hampton. He graduated from Stidham High School in 1962. On December 12, 1965, Scott married Betty Jo Parnosky. They were happily married for 50 years. Scott worked at the Ford dealership as a car body repairman. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: his wife, Betty, of the home; his daughters, Katie Lynn Hampton Stafford and husband Mike of Eufaula and Norma Lynn Frost-Smith and husband Keith of Oklahoma City; his son, Gary Ray Hampton of Tulsa; his sisters, Wilma Walters and husband Frank of Choctaw, Nadine Buck and Anna Harp both of Stidham; his grandchildren, Trenton, Justin, Christopher Scott, Timothy, Brandon, Heidi, Haley and Kyla. He is also survived by five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Marcus Ray Hampton.
