Shannon Gene Ginn

Shannon Gene Ginn, age 57, passed away on January 29, 2026, at his home.

Shannon was born on January 29, 1969, in Enid, Oklahoma. He graduated from Quinton High School 1988. Throughout his life, he was known for his willingness to help others, especially when they needed it most. He spent much of his working career driving a wrecker, a job that allowed him to do what came naturally to him—show kindness, build relationships, and lend a hand, even in the pouring rain.

While Shannon took pride in his work, those who knew him best knew where his heart truly was. He was happiest when he was fishing or working on whatever wild hot rod project had captured his attention at the time. Whether he was running his Mustang down the drag strip or reeling in a big fish, Shannon found his greatest joy having his family right there by his side.

Shannon is survived by his wife, Angela Ginn; his children, Christopher Ginn, Shelby Hall and husband Jacob, Marvin Ginn and wife Hannah; his sister, Janice Durham; his brother, David Dugger and wife Pamela; his cousin, DeAn Davis and husband Bradley; and his cherished grandchildren, Blaine, Abel, and Rowen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Virginia Ginn; his niece, Megan Durham; and granddaughter Kaydence Hall.

Shannon will be remembered for his generous heart, his love of family, his passion for fishing and fast cars, and the quiet way he showed up for people when it mattered most.
