Sherlyn Gawf

Sherlyn Faye Gawf, 79, of Eufaula, Oklahoma peacefully passed from this life on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Sherlyn was born on September 2, 1946 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Joseph Alexander Hoosier and Emma Ann (McAdoo) Hoosier. Sherlyn was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Sherlyn worked for thirty years in healthcare as a home health aide, she enjoyed her job and taking care of others. Sherlyn loved dancing, riding around town or going out on walks.

Sherlyn is survived by her son Kevin of the home; daughter Kimberly Gawf of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; one brother Joe Hoosier and wife Marilyn of Colorado; one grandchild Dakota Haislip and fiance Jenifer Lusk; four great-grandchildren Charlie Haislip, Chevy Haislip, Boston Ballou and Mayein Hailslip.

Sherlyn is preceded in death by her parent Joseph and Emma Hoosier, one son William Charles Gawf and one daughter Karen Gawf.
