Steven Nelms

Steven Nelms, 68, of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away on April 20th, 2018 at his home. Steven was born on March 29th, 1950 in Illinois to Ray and Christine Nelms. He graduated from McAlester High School. On March 20th, 1970, Steven married Phyllis Lee Williams. They were married for 45 years. Steven loved woodworking and fly tying. He was an avid gamer and a practical joker. He is survived by: his son, Jeremy Nelms and wife Rebecca of McAlester; daughter, Donna Rousey, of McAlester, OK; brother, Bill Nelms of McAlester; grandchildren, Caleb, Christian, Colten, Jackson, Savannah, and Brentleigh; and one great grandchild, Charlie. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray & Christine and his wife Phyllis Nelms.
