Sydney Inez Duke,72, of Shawnee, OK peacefully passed from this life on Thursday, April 2, 2026 in Midwest City, OK surrounded by family. Sydney was born on May 13, 1953 in Santa Maria, California to Leonard Ray Nichols and Janis (Ingram) Nichols.
Sydney is survived by her husband David of the home; her son Christopher Duke and wife Sierra of Hughson, California her daughter Katrina Yendes and husband Mark, two brothers David Nichols and wife Terri of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Daniel Nichols of California. one sister Debbie Garoui of Texas; four grandchildren Haley Caetano of California, Megan Duke of California, Lily Duke of California and Richelle Yendes of Florida and one great-grandchild.
Sydney is preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Janis Nichols; two brothers Lynn and Brian Nichols and three sisters Shirley, Marysue and infant sister.
